Well, it's testament to a busy life: no posts since October. Teaching and being Molly's mom pretty much took over everything else. Time for a little TV at night was about all I could muster. I'd be in bed my 8:00 if I had the choice.
Until our 18 week appointment when the perinatalogist said that I was done with work and shouldn't go back after break. I was shocked. I though I had at least another month at school before having to stop. So, I attempted to rearrange my life in about two weeks. This is not easy. I hardly had the energy to do extra work on top of the busy days I already had. Plus, there was a quick scramble for a sub.
Thank God that a Spanish-speaking sub was found and I set out to get things organized for her. I know there was still more to tell her, but in the short time we had before school began again it was tough. She seems like a great teacher and I hope the kids do well with her.
So, now I'm rounding up my first week as a stay at home mom and the slower pace that I'm not used to. And I find that I'm really enjoying it. I can sleep longer (a big plus) and just worry about getting Molly's meals and making sure we get to preschool and dance on time. I've also done some organizing and rearranging of the house to make room for our three.
I still have some loose ends to tie up with school and hopefully get them done soon so I don't have to think about it. I bought fabric to create the babies' bedding and now that's my next project. I feel like I haven't sewed for me in forever. I'm looking forward to it.
